How to Make Cold Brew Coffee at home
Ingredients:
1 cup coarsely ground coffee (medium-dark roast works well)
4 cups cold, filtered water
Tools:
A large jar or pitcher
A fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
A second container for straining
🤫 The Secret Ingredient: Cafe de Leche’s roasted coffees are perfectly smooth for cold brews.
Steps
combine
Add the coffee grounds to your jar, then pour in the water. Stir gently to make sure all the grounds are saturated.
Steep
Cover and let it steep in the fridge (or at room temp if preferred) for 12 to 24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger it gets.
Strain
Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into another container to remove the grounds.
Serve
Dilute with water, milk, or a milk alternative to your taste. Serve over ice and enjoy!
